The Angstrom Award for Career Achievement in Lighting Design
Since 1991, the Angstrom Award has recognized outstanding career achievement in lighting design with a $1,000 cash award. The award is presented by the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle at its annual awards ceremony.
"For 18 years we have joined the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle in recognizing an outstanding lighting designer," said Frans Klinkenberg, president & CEO of Angstrom Lighting. "As long-term members of the community, it is always an honor for Angstrom to be involved in meaningful awards that recognize leaders in the lighting industry."
The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle was founded in 1969. It is dedicated to excellence in theatrical criticism and the encouragement and improvement of theatre in Greater Los Angeles. The membership consists of critics reviewing theatres for a variety of websites, radio stations, newspapers and magazines.
