Angstrom University Lights Up This Summer

The programs will be held at Angstrom Lighting in Hollywood, California and will include both beginning and advanced-level courses throughout the summer.
In addition to theatrical and dance lighting design, there will also be classes in such diverse areas as architectural lighting design, Whole Hog and Express programming, introduction to live audio, intellectual property law and more. Instructors will be some of the industry's greatest luminaries.
ANGSTROM UNIVERSITY will be the culmination of months of preparation and organization. "We could not be happier with the response we've received from both our instructors and our prospective students," said Frans Klinkenberg, former owner and CEO of Angstrom Lighting. "Everyone is very excited about the project.
It's something we've always wanted to do, and we are thrilled to be offering this opportunity to students and industry professionals alike." The Angstrom Lighting premises will provide an interesting variety of classroom settings. Some instructors will opt for the demo room and a close-up, hands-on experience, while others will set the stage in one of the unique warehouse environments.
